Dr Chu grew up in Singapore and immigrated to Perth in 2008 where he completed his undergraduate commerce degree and worked in the finance industry for a few years before completing his postgraduate medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2017.

He has since worked in all tertiary hospitals in Western Australia and a few regional hospitals before transitioning to General Practice.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his two dogs and is heavily involved in competitive dog sports.
