After qualifying from Queen's University Belfast, and working in various hospital posts, Dr Mah worked in anaesthetics, and pharmaceutical medicine, before training to become a GP in UK. He has worked as a GP for 10 years in the UK, and has been a GP in WA for the past 7 years. In his spare time, he is an active member of a local choir.
