Dr Smith-Cazaly graduated from Flinders University Medical School in 2010. Although he was born in the US, he considers himself Australian and has been in WA for over 30 years. He grew up in the Peel region and finished high school at Pinjarra SHS. His particular interests are emergency medicine, mental health, palliative care, suicide prevention and pretty much anything that makes it difficult to be a human being. He is supported at home by two children, a very tolerant wife and a less tolerant cat.
