Fitness to drive medical assessments are available at Murray Medical Centre for private and commercial drivers. Driving requires adequate vision, physical function, cognition, and medical fitness. A medical assessment may be required for a range of reasons, including age-related licensing requirements, certain medical conditions, or commercial driver licensing.

Doctors consulting at Murray Medical Centre can complete medical assessments for:
• Department of Transport fitness to drive assessments
• Commercial driver licence medical examinations
• Heavy vehicle, passenger transport, and dangerous goods driver medical assessments
• Medical assessments required following changes in health or medical conditions, where applicable

The assessment includes a review of your medical history and current health, together with completion of the required medical documentation in accordance with the relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.
